MEMO
TO: Maureen Watz, Deputy Clerk
U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit
514 North Robert Street, Room 500
St. Paul, Minnesota state
FROM: Paul Andrew, Mitchell, B.A., M.S.
Counselor at Law
DATE: May 9, 1997
SUBJECT: U.S.A. v. Gilbertson
Mrs. Jan Gilbertson and I are unable to determine the whereabouts
of her husband, Mr. Everett C. Gilbertson.
For this reason, the MOTION TO CORRECT TRANSCRIPT OF SENTENCING
HEARING was mailed today to Mr. Gilbertson's last known location
-- the Almsted Detention Center in Rochester, Minnesota state --
to be signed, dated, and served by Him, with five (5) copies to
be mailed directly to the 8th Circuit Clerk of Court via Priority
U.S. Mail, as soon as possible.
In order to alert you to the possibility that these pleadings may
be delayed, while the U.S. Postal Service and/or the Bureau of
Prisons attempt to forward the pleadings which I mailed today,
please place the enclosed cover sheets in a hold file until you
can conform the signed originals and acknowledge same by stamping
these cover sheets and returning them in the envelopes provided
(see enclosed).
Thank you very much for your assistance.
Sincerely yours,
/s/ Paul Andrew Mitchell
