Subject: Freedom of Information Act (“FOIA”) Request

Dear Matthew B. Hiser:

This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I request that a true and correct copy of the following documents be provided to me, without delay:

1. APPOINTMENT AFFIDAVITS executed by Ms. Lois G. Lerner upon occupying the position of attorney with the Criminal Division, U.S. Department of Justice (cf. attached letter 27 JAN 1981). See 5 U.S.C. 2903, 2906, 3331, 3332, 3333, 5507; 44 U.S.C. 3512;

2. OATH OF OFFICE executed by Ms. Lois G. Lerner upon occupying the position of Special Assistant to the United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia (cf. same attached letter). See U.S. v. Pignatiello and 28 U.S.C. 543, 544.

I request a waiver of all fees for this request.

Disclosure of the requested information to Me is in the public interest, because it is likely to contribute significantly to public understanding of the operations and activities of the federal government, and is not primarily in My commercial interest.
