          pursuant to WAC 478-140-018 and FERPA;  see:

Greetings University President:

 

This is a lawful and proper Request, submitted pursuant to the Federal and Washington State authorities cited above, for the following education records concerning Me:

 

(1)     any and all records indicating expressly or implying in any manner that there is, or has been, “open police action” concerning the Undersigned at any time during the past ten (10) calendar years, including but not limited to the date(s) on which such record(s) were first created.

 

The authorities and policies cited above require you to respond to this lawful Request within forty-five (45) days, to wit:

 

FERPA also affords students certain rights with respect to their education records.  These rights include:

1.                   The right to inspect and review the student's education records within 45 days of the day the University receives a request for access.  [emphasis added]

 

 

NOTICE OF RESERVATION

 

The Undersigned also expressly reserves His right to request an amendment to His education records, as follows:

 

FERPA also affords students certain rights with respect to their education records.  These rights include:

2.                   The right to request the amendment of the student's education records that the student believes are inaccurate, misleading, or otherwise in violation of the student's privacy rights under FERPA.  [emphasis added]

Please be advised that I have personally confirmed, with a veteran Lieutenant at the University of Washington Police Department, that their office had no records of any “open police action” concerning me, as of the day of my private meeting with that Lieutenant.

 

That day was May 9, 2012 (see attachments to Mail Fraud Report).
