Subject:  Criminal Copyright Violations

 

Dear Mayor Giuliani:

 

I am writing your office to request your immediate attention and special assistance in apprehending a criminal copyright infringer now doing business within New York city.

 

Attached please find a copy of the VERIFIED CRIMINAL COMPLAINT which I recently executed and served on the Chief of Police for the City of New York, with an original to the Federal Bureau of Investigation in New York city.

 

I am supplementing this CRIMINAL COMPLAINT with the enclosed documentary evidence.  As you can plainly see from reading the text of this criminal's lies, he alleges falsely on his Internet website that "The Federal Zone ... has evaporated from deoxy [sic]."  The other enclosed documents were obtained today from Internet Domain DEOXY.ORG, where multiple copyright violations continue, contrary to the statement above.

 

Please take careful note of the fact that the Software & Information Industry Association ("SIIA") has recently released the results of a study which show that New York City has the highest incidence of software piracy and criminal copyright violations in the nation.  We have enclosed a summary of this study's results, for your information.

 

Since we have done such a thorough job of documenting and proving the ongoing copyright infringement by Mr. Daniel Levy and his accomplices, doing business as Levity, we would like to request that your office make an example of this recalcitrant criminal.

 

Mayor Giuliani, thank you very much for your prompt assistance in this law enforcement matter.
