Thanks for the wake-up call in this area. Again, if you would please
tell
me whether this makes me an agent of the U.S. Government, I would like
to know.
Because if it does, I will have to forego such protection for the
following
reason.
Right now, I have the right to look into user directories, etc. in the
course of
security work to see if someone is hacking into my system or from my
system
into other people's systems. If the course of this duty I run into
child
pornography
or any illegal activity, I may do some research up to the point that I
have
notified
the police. If I am a government agent, I would have all the legal
requirements
of being an agent, requiring search warrants, etc. I would not be able
to
carry
out my job.
And thank you for the URL...I also saw where I can send his Internet
access
bill.
