Appellate District, Division Three, in 1990, by Governor George
Deukmejian.
Appointed to the Superior Court, in 1985, by Governor George
Deukmejian and served until appointment to the Court of Appeal.
B.S. from Bradley University at Peoria, Illinois, and LL.B. from
the University of Illinois, College of Law, at Champaign, Illinois,
1961. National Moot Court finalist, editor of law school newspaper
Caveat and member of Phi Delta Phi. Scholastic honors:
Omicron Delta Kappa; Phi Eta Sigma, Phi Kappa Delta, Phi Sigma

1976-1985 and as Mayor for four years during that period.
