The Brushaber court held that income taxes are indirect,
because 1:2:3 and 1:9:4 were never repealed by the so-called
16th amendment [sic].  The Constitution cannot contradict 
itself.  C.J. White was adamant about this in Brushaber.

Moreover, repeals by implication are not favored.

Other courts have held that income taxes are direct,
Pollock being the most famous, and most pertinent,
because Pollock was a state Citizen.

Since the 16th amendment was never ratified, 
Pollock is now controlling.
