Hi Brenda,

I never saw this message. Perhaps it got
lost in the ether somewhere.

Our standard fees are $75 per hour,
charged against an earnest retainer of $500,
prepaid in cash or blank U.S. Postal Money
Order, insured if necessary, to our shipping
location (see end of this message).

A blank USPMO leaves the "PAY TO" line blank,
so we can use it to pay bills and such.

The $500 retainer buys 7 hours, plus one
hour for free (7 @ $75 = $525).

We like to keep the initial retainer small,
to give both sides maximum flexibility.
Retainer renewals must be prepaid in advance also.

We do not presently work either pro bono,
or on contingency, for reasons I can explain,
upon request.

The philosophy which we implement in
all federal cases, particularly where the
United States Department of Justice is
involved, is explained briefly in
"Karma and the Federal Courts," in the
Supreme Law Library at the URL right
below my name here:

Sincerely yours,
/s/ Paul Mitchell
