major trough off the west coast of the U.S.
is expected to force Hurricane Linda on a 
North-by-Northwest track over the next 48 hours.

Maximum significant wave height is 36 feet

services which post data on the Internet.
Call the National Weather Service, or try
"National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration" ("NOAA")
for a website or other on-line reporters.  I will
browse and see what I can come up with.
