I was asked to leave a Catholic seminary in
California, after 5 1/2 years of study,
when I decided I did not want to wear a
biretta any longer. So many of us were
thrown out that day, it became known as
"Black Sunday" in the history of that college.
I was really just testing, because earlier
I had been chastised for reading "The Formation
of the Noosphere," by Father Pierre Teilhard
de Chardin, on a beautiful Sunday morning,
in memory of his passing on Easter morn.
As Father Nemesis went on his way, I went
back to reading Teilhard. For this, I was
considered too dangerous to be a priest.
