Dear Mike,

I have just downloaded your SR261.ZIP
software onto a new Win95/OSR2 machine.

I see how the Windows interface works.

Very nice job!!

Can it also work in batch mode, on the
DOS command line, e.g. (using tokens
which I invented for this example):

    C:\MYDIR> sr32 filename old-string new-string [options]

    where,
           new-string replaces old-string in filename
           and filename is updated

I want to add this feature to a larger .BAT
file which is prepping some ASCII files
with HTML prolog and epilog templates.

Also, when I tried the following command
at the DOS prompt:

  C:\SR261.DIR> sr32 /Sreplace /pread.me /i

I got the following error message:

"This program has performed an illegal
operation and will be shut down."

Many thanks, in advance, for any help you
can provide me.

/s/ Paul Mitchell
