Subject: L&J: Pogue carburetors
References: <19971029.181956.3430.1.ckredding@juno.com>

I had the carburetors right,
and I had the desert right,
but I had the wrong war.

The Pogue carburetors were
installed in Allied tanks
which fought Gen. Rommel,
the Desert Fox.

My friend, and colleague,
Byron Wine has the evidence --
a photograph of a Pogue carburetor.

Those of you who have been kind to
me, are very likely to get a copy,
if you request one here.

Byron tells me that the search
engines come up with lots of
references to "Pogue".

Try it! Seeing is believing.

Insults tend to perpetuate
ignorance, however.
