The lawful implications of the original 13th Amendment are very far-reaching, and that is putting it mildly. A totally different angle, with the same result, can be found in the DRAFT APPLICATION FOR INTERVENTION OF RIGHT which we came close to filing in Hawks v. County of Butte et al. The 17th amendment [sic] was unique for needing 100% of the several states to ratify, not three-fourths. Thus, we have not had a lawfully convened U.S. Senate at least since 20 years PRIOR TO the alleged ratification of the 17th. /s/ Paul Mitchell http://supremelaw.com copy: Supreme Law School At 04:51 PM 11/2/97 -0400, you wrote: >Dear Ken and all, > >Pish Tosh. > >The crux of the matter is personal responsiblity, is it not?
