I'll have you know that I found the Crow language
to be so difficult, I did not learn a single syllable
all the time I was up there -- to help them negotiate a
new extraction lease on their huge tract of coal.

But, of course, all the Crow were bi-lingual and
spoke perfect English.  It was a very humbling
experience, to say the least.  When we were all done,
the Chief's son invited me back -- for a horseback
tour of the reservation's sacred sites.  I have yet
to take him up on his offer.
