Time: Mon Oct 28 16:20:18 1996 To: Jim McCall From: Paul Andrew Mitchell [address in tool bar] Subject: frustration Cc: Bcc: Dear Jim, I don't know if you will get this message or not, and that is part of the problem. I did everything I could to urge you to install and learn electronic mail, several weeks, if not months, ago. I have replied to every incoming message from you, since you got it running. You then tell me you haven't read them. Several of those messages were triplicates of the exact same message. Now you want me to expedite the transmission to you of some very important template briefs, and you are under a serious deadline to get these files immediately. Jim, as an engineer, you must know that you cannot build a bridge over the weekend. I would recommend that you take some classes, and/or buy some books, like the manual for Eudora, and maybe also some books on the Internet. I also remember urging you to buy Eudora, and now I learn that you have selected some other sofware, and you want me to support you in the installation and training with software I don't use and have no knowledge of. This is not working, Jim. What do you recommend that we solve this situation? I want to continue working with you, but you are not holding up your half of the bargain. I do not have the time or the desire to teach you really basic things about the computer you bought. If you don't want to work with my recommendations, or come up with something which we mutually agree is better, then you should consider going your own way. I am not having these kinds of problems with literally hundreds of other email users with whom I interact on a daily basis. You must bite the bullet and learn what you need to learn. This means learning about the fundamentals of baseball before stepping up to the plate in the World Series. I await your answer. /s/ Paul Mitchell
