It is indeed true that the laws of another state (Republic) are foreign. But what about (S)tates? There is an RCW (revised code of Washington) that the courts shall (mandatory) take judicial notice of another (S)tates statutes. What if there is a conflict? Does the "full faith and credit" clause of the Constitution mean that Michigan's Constitutional provisions about all lands being held in allodium confer me, a foreigner to Michigan, some right? I'm not arguing, just playing devils advocate.
