I need help. My wife received a speeding ticket. She challenged the jurisdiction of the court, but the judge ignored her and tricked her into entering a plea. We've lost in the municipal court of course and we are appealing in the District Court. Friday 3, October 97 she is suppose to put up a bond in order to appeal. The bond can be federal reserve note or a surety bond (2 signatures). What should we do? Should we place the bond. Which law books and cites should we be looking in. I have an excellent book entitled "The Traffic Ticket Scam" by Richard A. Bellon, but the state law, codes, cites and all are for California. Are there any Texans who can help?
