you Should call the Social Security Administration and ask for the procedures for getting a statement of benefits.
They will tell mail you a form. When you see the form - you will note the procedures for getting a benefits statement.
Fill out the form according to the directions. It casts around 65 bucks.
mailit in. in about 30 days you will get your benefits statement and you
will see that you are fully vested in the Social Security Program.

All you have to pay into the system is for the first forty quarters, then payments after that are fully voluntary.

Now hat you have your benefits statement in hand. and you know that you are still fully vested
you may send in your Revocation of Power of Attorney and SS Recission.

Then - my friend- you must never never use that number again for any reason..
it will be fraud if you do.
Now you are over contributing. Inform your employer- tell him that he is not a withholding agent
adn giver him the w-8 exempt ( certificate of foreign etc.) and you should be done with it.
