The insights and the even better appendix was a real treasure. I first read it off a computer bulletin board sometime in early 1993. : The problem I have, is that I spent most of my life flying with the Air Force. I flew the C-5A/B Galaxy airplane for ten years. I also flew C-H3 helicopters in Laos, in special operations, when we weren't there. I have been part of innumerable media events, that have been duly reported. I know that as far as the operations I have been part of, the media is more often wrong as not, the problem is that they never tell you when they are guessing, or when their information is second hand hearsay. : That brings me to my problem with the "Kickback Racket." The majority of the article is pretty accurate, in fact I can probably find the manual with the portions that describe the delegation authority for the "PRMS"(- Performance Management and Recognition System).(I could make up some GIF's of the relevant pages if anyone is interested.) : I was shocked to find out that a civil servant whose job depended on those in authority over him to be able to pass out "cash" bonuses to the President and other, even his bosses! : The problem is that we don't have any hard evidence as to who actually received the bonuses. : Mitch makes the following questionable statement in the third paragraph: : "We have a political prisoner in federal custody right now who is prepared to testify that the President receives this sum each and every time a federal grand jury issues an indictment against any illegal tax protestor ("ITP"). U.S. Attorneys receive a mere $25,000 per indictment of ITP's." : I presume that the political prisoner he is talking about is Phil Marsh, formerly Milt Pilot, of the Pilot Connection. I have known Phil for a couple of years now, and I talk with him fairly regularly. I seriously doubt that Phil has any "hard" evidence to support the above assertion, other than the fact that the IRS manuals give this incredible authority to various IRS functionaries. : By the way Phil is out on appeal as of this date, has just had minor surgery, and is living in a halfway house in San Francisco because the government had confiscated and sold over $400,000.00 of his assets before ever bothering to convict him. This seems to be about par for the government. Anyone wanting to contact him (donations would probably be gladly accepted) can do so through Joyes Burris at 1791A Pine St Apt B, in San Francisco, California 94109. : The biggest problem the government has with Phil, is that they never proved any of the charges he was convicted of. : I sent my secretary over to his last trial to take trial notes (about a hundred pages or so). If any one is interested I will be happy to e-mail them a copy. : I have spent many tens of thousands of dollars trying to figure out the system. : I have to sadly admit that when I took my pledge to protect the Constitution against all enemies, both foreign and domestic, I never dreamed that that the domestic variety would be the most challenging of all. At least with a foreign enemy you know who you are dealing with. It is truly sad to have to admit that the worst enemies are bad actors within our own government. : It is incumbent on all of us to check our facts.
