Subject: error in Public Notice, page 24, March 1997 Media Bypass
Dear Jim,
The first sentence of Dan Meador's "Public Notice,"
which you have published on page 24 of the March
1997 edition of "Media Bypass" magazine, has an
error which I wish you would correct in the next
edition.
There is no "Rule 301, Federal Rules of Civil
Procedure." There is, however, a Rule 301
of the Federal Rules of Evidence. My West copy
of the FRCP only goes up to Rule 86.
Rule 301 of the Federal Rules of Evidence
has to do with "Presumptions in General in
Civil Actions and Proceedings," to which
I believe Dan Meador was referring.
Many thanks for keeping your readers
well informed.
/s/ Paul Mitchell
