: Great idea, and long overdue, Paul.

The combined effects of the political retaliation
I have experienced, and exclusive control of the
password by our former webmaster, have made it
impossible for me to do badly needed maintenance.

Very soon, both of these are going to change.

And, more good news is that we do plan to load
at least a few representative pleadings from
the remaining 30+ cases which we have litigated.

The goal for Phase I of the SLL is, at least,
to get every file loaded onto the website,
e.g. VERIFIED CRIMINAL COMPLAINT against
the Chief Judge of the Ninth Circuit, for
obstruction of justice in connection with
In Re Grand Jury Subpoena (already loaded).

Phase II will focus on cross-referencing the
various documents which refer to each other,
via working hypertext links. Happily, the rate
of software developments in web publishing are
moving at a very rapid pace, e.g. FrontPage 98.

We would still prefer to be able to "mirror"
the output of our HP laser printer on the web,
complete with line numbers, bold, underline,
and italics, exactly as the pleadings were
filed in court. I make a habit of using
bold, underline, and italics quite frequently,
in order to add much needed emphasis to key
words and phrases. But, my old "legacy" version
of MS WORD Version 5.0B actually works so well
in the WIN95/ORS2 DOS window, I have no good
reasons to migrate to any Windows-based word
processors. I'll have to see what FrontPage 98
can do to help, beyond the FTP file transfers.

Last but not least, we are planning to publish
"The Federal Zone," 8th Edition, in hard copy,
and these funds can be allocated to further
SLL developments (of the more entertaining
variety).

Wish us luck, and many thanks for your
sincere encouragements.
