Dear Supreme Law Forum Users:

We are actively searching the marketplace
for superior software to handle the growing
needs of the Supreme Law Forum.

We are entertaining a modest subscription
fee policy, probably $1 per month, payable
$12 in advance, in order to defray our
mounting administrative costs.

We would implement this fee via a combination
of on-line credit card transactions, like the
InterNIC domain registration program, and
optional mail-in payments, using U.S. Postal
Money Orders.

There would also be a password system, much
like the passwords required by Hotmail and
other free Internet email services.

A contract would need to be signed, whereby
you would agree to abide by the stated policies
of this forum, and consent to all final decisions
made by the Forum webmaster, who would have
final authority to bar any violators, including
discipline, with help of the violator's ISP
and/or InterNIC domain managers.

On the technical side, we are seeking software
which is more robust, to avoid the duplicate
and triplicate postings which have been a
problem in the past.

We would also like a more succinct summary
page, to avoid the long download times for
the main topic index.

We also are hoping, with some ambition, to integrate
all existing messages into the new message database,
whatever that might be. Time and resources will
be the ultimate factors determining how elegantly
the existing messages are integrated with whatever
new software we select.

With this lengthy introduction, I would invite
all constructive comments and suggestions here.

Thank you very much for your consideration.

And, PLEASE, take insults elsewhere, if that
is your real reason for loitering here.
