Paul Mitchell Is this a scam?
AS OF YESTERDAY. MR. MITCHELL'S RETURN E-MAIL ADDRESS WAS:
Supremelawfirm@yahoo.com
TODAY as of 3:46PM its: Supremelaw@hotmail.com
Mr. Mitchell's given address of:
Supreme Law Firm
2509 N. Campbell Rd #1776
Tucson AZ 85719
Appears to be a mail drop similar to Mail Boxes-R-Us, etc.
I called the US Postal service at 1-800-275-8777, and spoke to an operator. I asked for
the name of the person(s) using the Box 1776 thinking it was Post Office Box.
I was referred to a person named "Al" in Tucson who looked up the number and
confirmed that it was NOT a US Post Office Box number. I explained to him what is
going on and he asked for the street address. He explained then that he thought it was a
private mail drop, etc.
There is no listing for his full name in any of the white page directories
I have been able to acces

I got this by videotaping the URL translation on my browsers screen from
the DNS handle "supremelaw.com" . Goes by real fast.
Single framing the tape, I was able to get the DNS lookup number and trace it.

The host is NOT either of the 2 above. It's really the University of New
Mexico. Most likely these other two were the first host(s) of his URL, and
he since changed. Records upkeep must be slow.

Here's something a little closer to reality:
SERVER'S SITE:
UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO
WWW.ENMU.EDU
SERVER id: CS45.enmu.edu
Address: 192.207.226.72
Under name of:
Supemelaw.com
Running Apache 1.2.5
e-mail address of server:
email@cs45.enmu.edu
I wonder what the University Of New Mexico would think if they knew he was abusing
their server like this. I'm sure they haven't the foggiest notion of what's going on. I've
intimated that I may inform them if he doesn't apologize for his libelous statements.
We'll see.

COPYRIGHT
Common Law Copyright
July 4, 1993
Mitch Modeleski
Similar, but not in common fashion. I have no idea what a "common law
copyright" is. I don't know if it would qualify as legal copyright or not,
but it would still be incumbent on Mr. Mitchell to prove his ownership of
the copyright. As far as it stand, Mitch Modeleski is the legal copyright
holder.
Modeleski/Mitchell probably did not take the time nor spend the $20.00
required to register the manuscript with the copyright office. Actually he
doesn't have too, but if there ever is a question as to who the legal
owner, if any, is, this is where the determination is made.
My last e-mail this afternoon may be the last that I send to Mr. Mitchell.
I'm am thinking very much about just calling the FBI and letting them
investigate. It appears very strongly to me that there is some sort of a
scam going on here., I can't quite put my finger on it, but things like
changing e-mail accounts are very much "red flags" to me. Perhaps somebody
else complained and he had to change e-mails, perhaps he's just a mad
author. I don't know. And he certainly won't give me much information
except for the "spams" he sends to everybody else.
